IntNSA is excited to announce that Dr. Pamela Cipriano has been elected as the next President of the International Council of Nurses (ICN).
Dr. Cipriano was the President of the American Nurses Association (ANA) from 2014-2018. When Dr. Cipriano was elected to the Board of the ICN in 2017, Dr. Cipriano was instrumental in supporting IntNSA to obtain the status as a Specialist Affiliate Organization of the ICN.
IntNSA is one of only eight global nursing organizations around the globe to have the privileged status as a Specialist Affiliate Organization of the ICN.
Dr. Cipriano is a visionary leader who is known for her encouragement and valuing of the role and work of nurses globally. At this time as IntNSA is working and seeing increased international growth, we are fortunate to have Dr. Cipriano in the position of President of the ICN, and, as a friend to addiction nursing.
IntNSA sends sincere congratulations to Dr. Pamela Cipriano!
