IntNSA USA’s Future Leaders Scholarship

2 scholarships available

Purpose

To provide financial assistance to attend IntNSA’s 47th Annual Education Conference, March 11th-14th, 2025. The awardee will receive complimentary registration, reimbursed airfare up to $500, hotel accommodations at the Renaissance Hotel, Disney for four nights.


Eligibility

  • Open to all active IntNSA USA members (Nursing Students, LPN, RN, Advance Practice Nurses and Ph.D prepared nurses).
  • Must express an interest in contributing to the advancement of the mission of IntNSA USA through active participation on IntNSA USA committees or the IntNSA USA Board, at the regional or national level.
  • Applicants who have had no previous leadership experience on an IntNSA USA or Global Board or committee.
  • Must be willing and able to attend the 47th Annual Education Conference, March 11th-14th, 2025.
  • Expected to attend the IntNSA USA Chapter Meeting at the conference.

Application Process

  • 250 word maximum, essay describing how your current or anticipated work aligns with, and can contribute toward advancing the mission of IntNSA USA.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals who are aware of your interest or experience in addiction nursing.
  • “To advance excellence in nursing care for the prevention and treatment of addictions for diverse populations across all practice setting through advocacy, collaboration, education, research and policy development.”

Key Dates

  • Deadline: November 15, 2024 (11:59pm eastern)
  • Review:  Applications will be reviewed by November 8th, 2024
  • Notification:  November 29, 2024
