Dr. Shanea Clancy, one of 2024 Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest, 2024 Duquesne University Duke from the Last Decade, 2024 Cribs for Kids Women of Achievement Honoree, 2023 Butler County Community College Distinguished Alumni, and 2023 Leadership Butler County Graduate/Co-Chair, boasts significant achievements in healthcare, business, and community service. Her educational background includes an RN from The Western Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing, BSN from Clarion University, MSN in Forensic Nursing and DNP both from Duquesne University, and a post-doctoral Executive MBA in Healthcare degree from the University of Pittsburgh. A Certified Addictions Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice since 2018 and Fellow of the International Addictions Association of Nursing (2024), she has received multiple scholarships and awards, including the Martha Clark Scholarship and the Pittsburgh Chapter Women of AT&T Scholarship in 2016, the Duquesne University Merit Scholarship in 2021, the University of Pittsburgh EMBA Women’s Talent Initiative Merit Scholarship in 2022, the 2023 Business Alumni Association and 2023 Alumnae Council Scholarships.
Clancy has served in leadership roles, including Duquesne University’s MSN Dean’s Student Advisory Board and co-chair of Leadership Butler County 2023, where she forged a sustainable partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the first ever “Butler County Community Day” event, her class raising over $40,000. Clancy has participated in fellowships with the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, is a member of the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, the Order of the Elks, and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, as well as serving on multiple boards. Clancy is married to John (Navy Veteran) with three children (Graciela - 6, Avelyn - 4, and Elias – 2), and enjoys volunteering, camping, traveling, cycling, mountaineering, and cheering her kiddos during all their activities.
