  • Director of education and initiatives for the Northeast Ohio Hospital Opioid Consortium at The Center for Health Affairs
  • Directs the mission to significantly reduce the impact of the opioid epidemic in NE OH by sharing and implementing evidence-based practices (EBP), promoting policy changes, and increasing prevention efforts while also concentrating on communication, education, patient management, harm reduction, treatment, data, and health policy
  • Spearheads nurse education subcommittee to develop and deliver SUD education for nurses and support staff including: SBIRT, nurse-led interventions, medically-complex patients with co-occurring disorders, managing difficult behaviors.  In 2020, over 3,000 nurses engaged in SUD education with over 5,600 CEs delivered
  • Nearly two decades of clinical nursing experience in SUD treatment
  • Member of US Attorney’s Heroin and Opiate Task Force Health Policy and Treatment Subcommittee; Cuyhoga County Opiate Tak Force; IntNSA; Greater Cleveland Organization for Nursing Leaders; Ohio Nurses Association; the American Nurses Association; and a board member of the Ashtabula County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board
